ORGANIZATION

The center is located at the Computer Science Department at Aarhus University in Aarhus, Denmark, but the core center team of researchers consists of two researchers at Aarhus University (Arge and Brodal), two researchers at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the US (Demaine and Indyk), and two researchers at Max-Planck-Institute for Informatics and at Goethe-University Frankfurt in Germany (Mehlhorn and Meyer). The group of six core center researchers and their institutions form an extremely strong world-class research team in algorithms in general, and in the core center research areas in particular.

The center is lead by a center director, Professor Lars Arge, supported by a center manager, Else Magård, a half time accountant, Ellen Lindstrøm, as well as an executive committee (Associate Professor Gerth Brodal and center manager Else Magård). However, in general the core faculty take part in all major center decisions. Finally, the center make use of an international advisory board consisting of six world-leading researchers in the center research areas.
